We had an absolutely incredible two weeks in Japan and loved every minute of it. It’s been one of the best trips we’ve done and probably for a number of reasons.

Waking up to that hotel view was just stunning. We kept the curtains open so that we could see the sunrise, and it didn’t disappoint! We avoided breakfast at the hotel as the charge would have been 2500 yen each! Instead, we caught the first shuttle bus back to Hiroshima Station after paying 500 yen a suitcase to send our baggage there for collection after 2pm. We woke up early, packed up our case and ordered an uber to get us back to Kyoto station. The uber cost around £9 and was a stress free way of getting back to the station with our cases. We then jumped on a shinkansen to Hiroshima.
